My life is overrated?
U.S. News & World Report listed Physician as one of the most overrated careers for 2009. Thanks? They cited science-heavy course work in college as one of the negatives (umm most of us like science) and having to watch patients get sick and die (...duh, it happens). According to their study, 49% of doctors polled would change careers if they had an alternative. I hate that. Every doctor says they wouldn't do it over, but I bet they would. Everyone hates their job- you're supposed to. And seriously, if you're making six-figures, you can certainly make a career change if you really wanted to.

if it makes you feel any better, my job is on the list too... and i also disagree. what do they know? they're probably english majors.
