i swear not to ever act like this.
i do not appreciate being shat on by a resident who is just out of med school. you were a student 2 months ago, get off your freaking high horse!
Incident 1: "my legs hurt, i'm going to sit. you're a med student- you can stand."
Incident 2: "it's your job to remind me to pay my rent later." i'm not your secretary, f**k you! <-- wish i had the balls to say that out loud.
Incident 3: doctor asking me a question, making eye contact with me... "blah blah blah answer answer answer." wow, i didn't realize how good i was at throwing my voice!
Incident 4: "gee, you're so loud back there [quiet/disinterested/pissed med student whose name i don't feel necessary to remember]" ... hour later ... "wow, you're so loud, it's getting annoying." you know what's annoying, you continuing to say that!! <-- again, what i wish i had said instead of just thinking it.
Incident 5: me talking to the [real] doctor using EMS jargon... blah blah blah, the patient RMA'd. "[turns to doctor] what does RMA mean?" i said it! stop pretending i don't exist and ask MEEEE what i meant!!
AAAHHHHHHH!!!
ok, that feels a little better.
